My position as the  NY State Trustee requires me to regularly attend  State
Executive Board meetings and monitor the different programs and issues that
the State is involved with.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,


The NYS FOP meeting was held on Thursday Oct 20,  2011 below are the highlights of the meeting:

  • A motion was made and later voted to ' Suspend ' the death benefit.
    a committee was appointed to review and bring a solution to this expense for the state.
    Beginning Jan 2012 the death benefit will be $250 for all. ( more details to come)

  • A Memorial watch ( 911) Swiss Legend will be available for purchase around ( $200) limited number and will
    be purchased online from the new NYS FOP web site. ( A link is available from our Main web page.)

  • Area VP's will be meeting lodges within their areas to review folders for compliance and membership of
active and associate members,


  • During the meeting a discussion and later a  vote was made to increase the Associate member and lodge
    fees. (Vote Passed)
